Site Hush

Product version V1

Invite your team using the right Google identity

Create a private Site Hush invitation, choose a role and let your colleague sign in with the correct Google account. Troubleshoot expired links and email mismatches.

Updated

An owner or admin creates a private, single-use link. Your colleague accepts using the Google identity with the invited email address. Site Hush does not send an invitation email automatically.

  1. Check the current account and open Team & account.
  2. Enter your colleague's Google email address and choose a role.
  3. Choose Create invitation link.
  4. Copy the link and share it privately with that colleague. It is shown only when created.

If clipboard access is denied, use the app's manual copy option. Do not put the link in public channels, screenshots, code or support tickets. If you lose it, revoke the invitation and create a new one.

Understand the roles

Role Responsibility
Admin Manages monitors, integrations and team, but cannot grant ownership
Member Works with monitors and checks, but does not manage Slack connections or invitations
Viewer Reads account data and help without changing monitors

Invitations offer these three roles, not owner. An existing owner can change ownership separately. The last active owner is protected from leaving or removal.

Accept using the correct account

  1. Your colleague opens the private link.
  2. If sign-in is required, they choose the Google account with exactly the invited email address.
  3. After acceptance, they choose Open account and check the account selector.

The link lasts seven days, works once and may be revoked sooner. An invitation to one account does not provide access to your other accounts.

If it does not work

  • Email mismatch: sign out and choose the correct Google identity. Changing browser profiles will not help if you select the same wrong account.
  • Invalid link: ask an owner or admin for a new private link. The generic error may mean the link expired, was used or was revoked.
  • Missing invitation: check that you opened the whole private link, not just the acceptance page. Do not share the link's secret part when troubleshooting.

Next step: add a monitor or ask an admin to connect Slack.
